RUSSELL JACKSON
J.
Russell Jackson is a member of both the State and Federal Bars of Rhode
Island. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the Suffolk University
Law School, and his Bachelors Degrees in History and Political Science
from the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Jackson has extensive experience
in the field of personal injury, auto liability and insurance law, serving
for five years as a Claims and Litigation Specialist for Progressive
Insurance, prior to opening his own law practice.
Currently Mr. Jackson
represents clients, provides services and practices in the areas of
personal injury, landlord-tenant, real estate, bankruptcy, domestic
relations, business, estate planning, probate, and general civil
litigation. He also represents clients in criminal matters and serves as a
court appointed attorney for the Second Division District Court.

Mr. Jackson is an adjunct
faculty member of the University of Rhode Island Political Science
Department, and serves as guest lecturer with the Learning Connection
on the subject of Landlord Tenant Law.
In addition to his
professional and academic activities, Mr. Jackson serves as the Chairman
of the Planning Board for the City of Newport, and has served as a member
of the Charter Review Commission for the City of Newport. He is also
involved in a number of charitable and volunteer organizations. Mr.
Jackson is a native of Newport and with his family, continues to make it
his home.
